Circlesnake productions uses collaborative creation to produce new work with a cinematic approach to storytelling. We bring rarely used genres to the stage to explore new approaches to theatre. We move fluidly between comedy and drama; we use truth to find humour, and use humour to move through tragedy. Circlesnake is led by Artistic Director Alec Toller, who works as a cognitive-behavioural therapist. Consequently, our shows hold a psychological lens, such as PTSD in Dark Matter, memory loss and identity in Slip, and what it would feel like for a subway to turn into a train in Special Constables.
